Cardiac Strain – Robert Beveridge

bleeding from the ears stark
walls are melting heartskip arrhythmic
spots form
redgold angels with their knives
crush, and crush, revolve
march in booted time
closer closer closer
trumpets blaring
tear apart this plexiglass plexus
invade
fall
sleep
