In this little home of vermins and elves,
I am the holiest and the prudent of these walls.
In this feeble town of blackhearts and holes,
I am of pockmarked flesh and animal wool.
In this coil of autumns and ambers,
I am the one who embodies purity; piety.
Yet deep in these walls I feel like running wild,
And deep in these crowds I feel like carrying despair;
I am of hearkened ears the stories from the other lads.
