I am an editor for a publishing company in Mexico City. Prior to moving to Mexico I was a newspaper reporter in Iowa, my native state, and Texas. Even though I now live in Mexico City, my approach to photography remains the same, to capture a little bit of life in as honest a way as possible. My biggest influences have been Walker Evans and Robert Frank. I discovered books of their photographs in the book shop at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the discovery changed my life. My photographs have been published in The Adirondack Review, Blue Mesa Review, Buffalo Almanack, Midwestern Gothic and The Ofi Press Magazine.
